Insite’s Environment Sustainability Initiatives

At Insite, we are committed to making a positive impact on the environment. Our sustainability initiatives reflect our dedication to a greener future. Here are the key commitments we’re making:

  1. Switch to 100% Renewable Energy by October 2024

As of June 2024, Insite commits to transitioning to 100% renewable energy by December 2024. We recognise the urgency of addressing climate change and are taking the following steps:

Milestones:

  1. Understand Our Energy Use (Completed in April 2024)
    • Our Sustainability Advocate has thoroughly assessed our energy consumption patterns.
  2. Get Leadership Buy-in (Completed in June 2024)
    • Our Sustainability Advocate has secured support from our leadership team.
  3. Review Options for Switching (Starting in June 2024)
    • Our Sustainability Advocate, in collaboration with Finance and Administration, is exploring renewable energy options.
  4. Make the Business Case for Switching (Starting in July 2024)
    • Our Sustainability Advocate, along with the Executive Sponsor, will present a compelling case for transitioning to renewable energy.
  5. Determine Implementation Plan (August 2024)
    • We will finalize the roadmap for the transition.
  6. Make the Switch (August 2024)
    • Insite will officially switch to renewable energy sources.
  7. Announce to the Business (September 2024)
    • Our Executive Sponsor will communicate this milestone to the entire organization.
  1. Achieve ISO 14001:2015 Certification by June 2025

Insite is committed to obtaining ISO 14001:2015 certification for our Environmental Management system by June 2025. This certification demonstrates our dedication to environmental stewardship.

Milestones:

  1. Obtain Quality Standards (August 2024)
    • Our Sustainability Advocate will ensure that we meet the necessary quality standards.
  2. Get Leadership Buy-in (August 2024)
    • Our Sustainability Advocate will secure support from our leadership team.
  3. Create Project Team (September 2024)
    • We will assemble a dedicated team to drive the certification process.
  4. Conduct Gap Analysis (October 2024)
    • Our team will identify areas where we need to align with ISO 14001 requirements.
  5. Refine and Develop Process (February 2025)
    • We will enhance our environmental management processes.
  6. Undergo External Audit (June 2025)
    • An external auditor will assess our compliance with ISO 14001 standards.
  7. Announce to the Business (June 2025)
    • Our Executive Sponsor will communicate our achievement to the entire organization.
