One of our clients was recently presented with a challenge that required them to set up a highly scalable and ruggedised solution that worked in a harsh climate and was compatible with the new and existing monitoring hardware, in a short period of time.
Deploying agile and innovative technology, Insite delivered a cloud-based solution with SD-WAN connectivity using a ruggedized, Cradlepoint unit. The unit utilised the mine’s existing 2.4Ghz and 5Ghz Wi-Fi for primary communication and the Telstra 4G/LTE mobility network for secondary communication.
The solution proved so successful that the client is now using the solution to support mine sites in Africa, and as the standard network solution for new sites allowing them to commence business operations with enterprise wireless connectivity whilst waiting for fixed connectivity to be provisioned.
